Software Training for Director of a Cafe in Skipton

A director of a café in Skipton wanted to save money by reducing costs with their existing accountants. She wanted to do the bookkeeping, VAT returns and Payroll herself but didn’t know how to use the accounting software and didn’t have any payroll software.

As an accountant in Brighouse I arranged to drive over and meet the same week. I trained her on how to use her Xero accounting software within a few hours.

Their existing accountants were charging £1200 per year for submitting the VAT  returns. For the payroll, I suggested using HMRC’s free Basic PAYE Tools and did face to face training and guided her over the phone on her first payroll submission. This has saved the company £50 per month.
